Movie: Don SeenuDirection: Gopichand Malineni Production: Venkat Banner: RR Movie Makers Lyrics: Ramajogaya Sastry, Seetharamasastry Music: Mani Sharma Cinematography: Sameer Reddy Star Cast: Ravi Teja, Shriya Saran, Sri Hari, Anjana Sukhani, Bramanandam, Nassar, Krishna Bhagawan About movie: ’Don seenu’ is 10 years kid from village ,he likes is school teacher to call him by the name ‘Don Seenu’.Because of that he started watching the movie Continously runs awayfrom home to become a don himself and reaches Hyderabad. In the city at that time has two major dons Narsingh (Sree Hari) and Mallesh Shiyaji Shinde).Seenu uses his own strategies to get induced to the Mallesh gang and as an opening assignment is sent to Germany to fool Narsingh’s sister (Shriya) into loving him.He discovers a twist which leads to various turns in the story.Whether DON Seenu becomes DON or not is rest of the story. performance: As usual Ravi Teja has given energitic performance and carried the movie on his shoulders. It is regular mass action entertainer. Anjana looked cute in her scenes. The debute director Gopichand did more than a fair job. Srihari lends credence to his role. Shayji, Mahesh Manjrekar, Surekha Vani and others played their roles well. Production value is pluspoint for this film.Viewers who are fond of ‘Kick’ type films will also get attracted to it. Kona Venkat deserves a tap on the shoulder forcreating a new theme for Ravi Teja again. Cinematography bySameer Reddy is pleasant..Music by Manisharma is okay. The producers of RR Movie Makers should be appreciated for trusting a first timer, and spending lavishly for shooting in foreign locales, on the songs and especially the fights.Dialogues by Kona Venkat are interesting. This being an out-and-out comedy, the villains are made props of helplessness in order to enhance the humour, but aren’t as comic as you’d want them to ideally be. Both Sayaji Shinde and Srihari do a good job, though. Among Venu Madhav’s raucous lunacy, Ravi Teja’s grab-the-scene-by-both-hands brand of buffoonery, or Brahmanandam’s poker-faced loudness, Don Seenu has several moments of comic brilliance.. Ali evokeslaughter and also Brahmanandam. In fact, both of them bringcheerfulness. Choreography in Raja Raja and Title song was amazing. The way Raviteja enacted Big B needs a round of applause. Mute episode is good in the second half. Positive assets: Ravi Teja’s energy levels,Shriya’s glamour,Comedy by Venu Madhav, Ali and Brahmanandam,Production values. The biggest asset to the film is Shriya who will pull crowds to the theaters minus: Mani Sharma’s music made audience somewhat boaring, story got lengthy... Final conclusion: At the box office, this has the right choice to end up as a profit grosser.Don Seenu is package of typical laughs of Ravi Teja’s film with good twists. On the whole, As expected don seenu is the package of glamour, some comedy and action makes it okay. It contains punch dialogues made donseenu, comedy entertainment. Especially A,B & C centres audience will embrace the movie readily and this is a ‘Kicking’ experience for Raviteja Fans after ‘Kick.’ Rating: 3.25/5 |
